The Larchmere district starts at East 120th Street extends east to North Moreland (about 13200).
Odd numbered addresses are on the north side of Larchmere; even numbers on the south side.
 


DRIVING DIRECTIONS

From Shaker Square:
Turn right on to North Moreland Blvd. (at Deweys)
At the first light, turn left onto Larchmere Blvd. You will be at the east end of the Larchmere business district.

From Downtown:
East on Carnegie or Euclid to Stokes Blvd. (formerly E 107th) Turn right onto Stokes and travel up the hill on Fairhill. At Kemper Blvd, turn right. The next light is Larchmere Blvd. Turn right. You will be at the east end of the Larchmere business district.

From the South:
North on I71 to I77 to I90-E; then east on I490
Turn left on East 55th exit. The second light is Woodland Ave., turn right. Go east on Woodland for three miles. When Woodland crosses Martin Luther King Blvd, it becomes Larchmere Blvd. and you are on the west end of Larchmere.

From the West:
East on I90 to I490, exit at East 55th, turn left. Proceed north to the second light (Woodland Ave). Turn right and proceed east on Woodland for three miles. When Woodland climbs a hill and crosses Martin Luther King Blvd. it becomes Larchmere Blvd. When you reach East 120th you will be at the west end of the Larchmere business district.

From the East:
Take I90-W to I271-S, or I480-W to I271-N.
Exit at Chagrin Blvd and head west.
At Richmond Road, turn right and go north to Shaker Blvd west and turn left. Proceed about 4.5 miles on Shaker Blvd west to Shaker Square. Bear right at the Square, then make the first right turn on to North Moreland Blvd. The first light is Larchmere Blvd. Turn left. You are now at the east end of the Larchmere business district.


PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING

A light rail line called the Shaker Rapid Transit (locals call it "the Rapid") will take you quickly (12 minutes) and inexpensively from downtown in Tower City (the "Terminal Tower") to Shaker Square. Then it's a short walk from the Square to Larchmere Boulevard. For the RTA schedules, click here. The Blue and Green lines stop at Shaker Square. A note to seniors: show your Medicare card and you'll ride at half-price.

Free parking is available in the lots of many Larchmere restaurants and businesses. On the north (Cleveland) side of Larchmere, parking is free and there are two lots for free off-street parking. On the South side (Cleveland) there are parking meters which are free Saturdays, Sundays and after 6 pm weekdays. The Shaker Heights side is also free, on the north side of Larchmere east of E. 127th St.

Festival Parking for the big summer street fair includes three major parking lots:    

  • LifeSkills, 12201 Larchmere
  • Our Lady of Peace, 12406 Buckingham (easily accessible via Shaker Blvd. at E. 126th St.)
  • Fairhill Center, 12200 Fairhill

On Festival day, Ohio City Bicycle Co-op is also providing secure bicycle parking from 10am-6pm at the grassy lot behind D&S Cleaning on Chesire Rd.
